MUSIC COMPOSITIONS

I have had a lot of fun writing music and the work has met with some success on Reverbnation and Broadjam. Thank you to a variety of talented vocalists including Julia Schmidt, Cyndi Corkran, Pearl Botts and Amber.
 
I write the music first and the lyrics follow the mood of the music.
This is the reverse of the way most people write.
When I hear the music enough, I fit the lyric mood and ideas to the song.
I get most of my lyric ideas from movies and--at times--from stories I have heard from others.
That is why my music often has a movie theme sound.
 
Though I write almost exclusively about fictional situations,  
"The Dream" represents my hope for our world and it IS personal.
And "The Traveler" was written for a friend who was lost in an auto accident.
"My Beautiful Connilee" was inspired by my daughter, Connilee!
 
Head phones work nicely with this music!
